Best place for sandwiches in Cincinnati. Little dinner with big portions and even better service

Food was good. Chili needs more flavor but still good. Sandwiches are huge. They are a tad pricey but we left full.

Double beef and cheese fish and chips around 7:45 p.m. tonight was truly amazing I mean look at this double beef and beef added Swiss cheese. This place is wonderful and the staff is courteous every time. I always go in around this time at night and see the waitresses cleaning the whole dining area pulling out the tables sweeping mopping in the back whatever they got to do. They have a wonderful team there and thank you to the cook for that sandwich man it's good

As soon as my husband got in the car he said Gosh this smells like rotten eggs. What did you order? I took the bag and smelled and said omg you’re right! I said it’s probably just hard boiled egg smell, they can smell like that sometimes. Plus, we didn’t want to go back in, the lady at counter had no time for us so it seemed. We took the egg off and tried to get rid of most of it. However, oddly enough I got violently ill that night, my husband did the next morning. This restaurant has been around long time, I’ve been coming here since I was in high school (90’s) and also frequent the sister/brother location in Harrison. But please be cautious of the eggs you use. I realize egg prices have gone high and we all are trying to conserve what we can. Everything else, the beef was excellent and so was the coney!

First time at this family restaurant on the west side in decades! I used to go with my brother as a kid, 50 years later still same excellent qualty, hearty portions, and same family owned and operated! The beef/turkey double decker with swiss cheese is one of the best in the area! Great food and service!

Come for the food! HUGE Double deckers (even bigger than I expected)! Home fries enough for at least 4 people. Atmosphere nothing special and cash only establishment.

Perfect little diner for breakfast lunch or dinner. Good sized portions to large portions. Bring cash no cards are accepted. They do have an atm tho... good food and service...

what an incredible experience as you walk through the door it takes you back to the old world of diners. The servers were very nice and prompt although the place was very busy we were taking care of in a timely manner. We ordered variety of food from breakfast to fish sandwich tuna sandwich club sandwich hamburger cheeseburger platter. All the food came out fresh and hot. Waitress was very attentive to our drinks and refilled them multiple times. We could have been in and out in less than 30 minutes but because we had a great conversation we stayed and talked and enjoyed each other‘s company. What a great family experience to spend such a great time together
